Registered Nurse (RN) | Orthopedics Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Olaro Pay: $1,718 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Olaro to find a qualified Orthopedics RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74101! Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Nurse to join our specialized musculoskeletal care team. In this dynamic and hands-on role, you will support patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, sports injuries, spinal conditions, and other orthopedic issues that affect mobility and quality of life. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting focused musculoskeletal assessments, monitoring neurovascular status, administering medications, managing pain, and assisting with casting, bracing, traction setups, and post-operative care. You will also provide patient and family education on mobility techniques, fall prevention, wound care, and rehabilitation expectations to ensure safe and successful recoveries. Accurate documentation, timely communication of changes in condition, and collaboration with surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals are essential parts of this role. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to support patients through both acute injuries and long-term recovery processes. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment where teamwork, critical thinking, and patient-centered care drive every decision.
