Job Description:
We re growing our teams and business in our newly acquired
manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma. This former pet treats
factory, bordering Kansas and Missouri sitting just over an hour
away from Tulsa, OK and Springfield, MO was selected for its
current and future pet treats production capabilities and shared
commitment to quality and safety. We re bringing industry-leading
knowledge and experience to this venture as we expand our in-house
capabilities for dog and cat treat innovation and production. Are

Miami, OK facility.As the Materials Associate Manager, you will be
responsible for directly monitoring and managing ingredients and
materials at the most optimal levels for the lowest cost, while
seeking opportunities for continuous improvement as a leader at our
Miami, OK factory. You'll work cross-functionally with plant
associates and suppliers to ensure successful operations. You will
execute purchasing decisions and initiate new ideas to provide
lower costs through improved logistics, supplier partnerships, and
energy procurement. You will also foster a safe work environment
while ensuring all quality standards are met.Monitor and manage all
raw and packaging materials and delivery, and associate freight
rates. This includes setting up and sourcing transportation as
contract terms dictate.Manage ingredient pipelines in accordance
with corporate guidelinesDevise and implement strategies that
ensure each product s raw material costs are at a
minimumCollaborate closely with department managers to ensure that
materials meet compliance standardsControl unplanned production
downtime by effectively planning ingredient and packaging
availabilityMonitor commodity and freight markets to be prepared in
making economical purchases and decisionsStrategically collaborate
and align with local and global suppliersOversee Vendor Credit
Claims filing and resolution process, as well as Vendor
Non-Compliance reportsComplete supplier visits in developing and
continuing a good working relationship with all ingredient
suppliersAnalyze and report capital improvements that would lower
costsAll other duties as assigned to support business
needsREQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent and 4+ years
of experience in the Materials, Logistics, Purchasing,
Manufacturing, or related environmentORBachelor s Degree in
Business, Logistics or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in the
Materials, Logistics, Purchasing, Manufacturing, or related
environmentThe approximate pay range for this position is $64,000
to $96,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith
estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final
compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to
knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic
