Organizational Relationships:Reports to the Director of Information Technology. This position will work collaboratively and interact regularly with the CCC Information and Technology team, as well as staff across the various departments and ministries, venues, and campuses of Crossings to accomplish the goals and mission of Crossings ministries.Responsibilities:Partner with the Information and Technology department to develop, integrate, and implement systems of data. (i.e. Rock).Develop reports and create compelling data visualizations for ministry teams that answer big and small ministry questions.Proactively share knowledge and collaborate with team members on best data practices, new ideas, and data experiences.Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.Respond to data integrity related help-desk requests in a timely manner. Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.Standardizing data initiatives across all ministry teams to create consistency.Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new data systems.Document procedures and keep current documents up to date.Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.Skills Required for PositionProblem solver whos ready to tackle a wide range of data related challenges, both technical or organizational. Self-motivated; ability to take on assigned tasks with minimal supervision.Solid understanding of databases and the ways in which they organize information.Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and research software solution recommendations.Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.Familiarity with methodologies and processes used in managing large scale databases. Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.General computer proficiency, able to use both Windows and Mac OS.Coachable and willingness to learn new technology.Ability to traverse across the campus.Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned projects to meet deadlines.Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers and vendors.Must have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.OtherAssist in maintaining the highest possible ministry standards and professional ethics in accordance with the goals, Purpose Statement, and Core Values of Crossings.Support the leadership of CCC, contributing to the spirit of unity among the staff and congregation.Represent Crossings in civic and ministry-related efforts as approved or requested.Complete any other tasks as may be assigned to fulfill duties of this position or as requested.Attends Crossings on a consistent basis to understand culture, mission and vision.Spiritual GiftsA mature walk with Christ exhibiting the spiritual gifts of administration/organization, teaching, service/helps with a servant heart.Education and Experience:Bachelors degree from an accredited university or collegeSQL knowledge is not required but would be a bonusCrossings Community Church, as a religious organization, reserves the right to hire based on religion
