Job Description:

Are you an experienced, detail-oriented mortgage loan processor who can successfully aid applicants in navigating the mortgage lending process? If so, we are looking for you! We are currently seeking a skilled and high-producing mortgage processor to work with the mortgage loan officers on our team. If you're interested in a dynamic position on a well-established and successful lending team, look no further; apply now!Compensation:$36,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Assist borrowers in determining the best mortgage type based on interview and situationPrepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denialDocument the loan process from origination to approval through our systemOrder property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records to help process mortgage loan filesServe as a liaison between borrowers, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to support loan approvalQualifications:Strong analytical and time management skills and superior attention to detailMinimum of 2+ years loan processing experience requiredAccounting, finance, or business Associate's degree preferred - High school diploma or GED requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirementMortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loansAbout CompanyOur Mission at Homestead & Co. is to remove the stigma of Agents, provide superior client service and make the home buying and selling process an experience, rather than a process.We realize that buying, selling, or investing in real estate are some of the biggest decisions people will ever make and we don't take that lightly.
