Job Description:



Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Assists the Casino Shift Manager with interviewing, selecting,

evaluating, promoting, disciplin ing, and terminating Guest Services

employees as needed.

* Assists the Casino Shift Manager in scheduling, supervising, and

training of all Guest Services employees.

o Ensures that all Guest Services operations on assigned shift are

conducted in an efficient, effective, and profitable manner.

o Promotes positive Guest relations by creating and promoting a

friendly atmosphere.

o Demonstrates outstanding Customer Service at all times by serving

as a role model to all enterprise employees.

o Observes and recognizes irregularities, violations, or other

discrepancies in Guest play and reports findings to the Casino Shift


o Reports all Guest complaints and/or disputes to Casino Shift

Manager for resolution.

o Verifies payouts and jackpots as required.

o Authorizes complimentary items (comps) to Guests when


o Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and

procedures, and TICS (Tribal Internal Control Standards).

o Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises, directly and indirectly, the activities of all Casino Floor

Attendants on assigned shift.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are

representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Customer service experience preferred. High School diploma (or GED) and

2-4-years of gaming experience and 1-3 years supervisory experience or an

equivalent combination of education and experience required.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Gaming industry experience required. Must possess excellent

communication skills and effective public speaking skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and

maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine

reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of

customers or Employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and

statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and

trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages,

ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid

conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical

instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract

and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must

be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required

to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms,

and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel,

crouch or crawl.

The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to

adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

A casino environment is typically smoky.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma operates a drug-free workplace. The selected

selected individual must be bondable and able to pass background check in

orderto obtain gaming license.
