Regional Engineer, you will provide support to field personnel to
ensure the safe and efficient operation of Southwest Region
What You Will Do:
Participate in Region safety program and station and
construction site audits.
Perform assigned duties during emergency response
Manage small operating and capital projects, developing and
implementing Special Costs and Capital AFEs from the budget
proposal stage through construction and closeout.
Assist Pipeline Maintenance Services, Maintenance, and
Operations on technical and compliance issues.
Provide support to US LP and MP Projects in developing and
implementing projects affecting Operations.
Collaborate with technical standards group to ensure engineering
standards, equipment specifications, and engineering construction
specifications meet U.S. regulatory requirements and reflect U.S.
Establish working relationships with a cross section of partners
within the company, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and services
- Work with company subject matter experts to assist with the
engineering needs of the region as well as continuously improve the
company's SME knowledgebase and standards.
Who You Are:
You have the following education and experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
High level of personal initiative with ability to work
independently with minimal supervision.

decisions on how a problem's solution will impact the immediate
problem and the system as a whole.
Be able to regularly shift between planned and unplanned
activities, while remaining effective despite the resulting

Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light -
moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above
shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual
requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine
print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer
for long periods of time.

and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information,
understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative
solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable
terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term
basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate
work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and
follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms,
compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and
communicate with individuals via telephone.
