Grade 50: $12.99- $15.11 / hour

Title: High School Registrar

Department: Office

Immediate Supervisor: Principal

Job Goal: To facilitate enrollment of new students, processing of grades/transcripts and withdrawal of students.


* Enrollment of all new students to include required documentation verification, data entry of student information and process permanent records and create a cumulative folder.
* Prepare official transcript for all students including data entry and hard copy to include posting of standardized test scores. Prepare transcript for scholarship and college applications.

3. Prepare and process grade cards and progress reports (mid 9 weeks):

* pass scantron sheets out to each teacher.
* completed scantron sheets returned to registrar then process through computer.
* run exception report, send out to teachers, corrections returned to registrar.
* process grades to disc, take disc to BOE for grade card printing.
* distribute grade cards/progress reports to teachers after obligation have been pulled.
* process all "I" or incomplete grades.
* Provide copies of requested records.
* Assist counselors with pre-enrollment.
* Record all summer school grades on computer, transcript and counselor card.
* Provide current GPS standings for academic and athletic organizations.
* Provide student information to Armed Forces when requested.
* Verify transportation codes, map codes and enrollment codes.
* Other duties may be assigned.

Length of Contract: Two hundred forty (240) contract days.

Salary commensurate with experience on the negotiated agreement of the Support

Employees of Edmond (SEE).

Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Principal in

accordance with the provisions of the Board's policies, state law, and the negotiated

agreement with the Support Employees of Edmond (SEE).

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).


None required.


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, staff, parents, and the general public.


Ability to plan budgets and use the mathematical skills required to do so. Maintain accurate records and support documentation for projects under the supervision of the position.


Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Ability to use computer and computer related programs and other technologies needed to perform essential job functions. Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and the community. Ability to organize and chair or facilitate committees and meetings. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
