Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following and other duties may be assigned: * Perform a variety of tasks such as; grinding, deburring, taping, media blasting, washing with pressure washer, and reading blue prints * Responsible for cleaning, reading blue prints, handling materials, and sweeping * Inspects parts by using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, or other inspection equipment * Performs a variety of assembly or production duties with minimal supervision * Responsible to see that all company supplied tools used are placed into proper storage cabinets daily * Assist quality in testing and other efforts as required * Conduct rope winding as necessary * Assist and maintains acceptable performance standards for assembly, production, quality, safety, and housekeeping * Performs all other assigned duties as instructed by supervision Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty safely and satisfactorily using good judgment. Education: High school diploma or general education degree 6 months' experience in manufacturing environment Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Perform basic mathematical calculations at a high school level. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving root cause and corrective action analysis.
