Job Description:

What You'll Do: · Inventory control, Cycle counting and overall material management. · All shipping and receiving duties, including documentation, bills of landing, etc. · Perform visual quality checks · Operate and monitor equipment such as forklifts, powered hand tools, and overhead cranes. · Perform general manual labor tasks including lifting, pulling, carrying, sweeping, cleaning, and moving materials. · Keep management and supervisors aware of product shortages to maintain accurate information · Organize inventory within the warehouse by properly boxing and storing goods in their designated location · Ability to lift · Maintain safe and clean work environment · Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail · Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing · Experience using a forklift is required · Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to order and ensuring all goods are in acceptable condition · Verifying quantities of all incoming and outgoing packages and pieces. · Work overtime as needed. · Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas including outside material storage areas/yards, and production floors. · Participate in daily safety meetings and safety committees/initiatives. · Train, guide, and assist co-workers as needed. · Manage physical and cycle inventory counts, track supplies and submit requests when needed. · Read and interpret fabrication drawings, production manuals, and work instructions. · Follow all company principles, safety rules, and regulatory standards. · Perform other duties as required or assigned. What You'll Need · High school diploma or GED required. · Minimum of 2 years’ experience with inventory MRP systems, Excel, Word, Email. · Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial warehouse environment. · Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other mobile/heavy equipment is preferred but not required. · Ability to read or learn to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and verify dimensional requirements. · 2 years’ Inventory control and cycle counting experience · Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required for material calculations. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong dependability and attendance.
