The role is also responsible for refilling pallets on a palletizer, changing stretch wrap and topsheet rolls, retrieving empty bags for packaging.Shipping duties include loading van and flat bed trucks, checking in and billing out trucks, answering the phone, loading drop and hook loads scheduled for the following business day, scheduling appointments, filling out safety pre-post inspections on their lift and conducting trailer inspections before loading. Additional responsibilities include dumping unsealed/rejected bags of salt, fixing damaged product, changing out propane tanks, operating pallet inverter and manual stretch wrapper, performing housekeeping duties in their area and more. Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.Other duties as assigned.
