Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Stillwater,
Oklahoma, 74074! Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession:

nurse will perform the role of labor and delivery nurse along with
postpartum care and triage. Responsibilities include assisting with
high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries. The nurse will
circulate for C-sections and assist with forceps or vacuum
extractions. Responsibilities also involve monitoring fetal heart
rates and administering medications as needed. Support for
breastfeeding and lactation will be provided to new mothers. The
nurse will be involved in newborn care, including newborn
assessments and phototherapy when indicated. Vigilance in patient
safety, infection control, and adherence to protocols is essential.
Education and discharge discussions with parents will be part of
the responsibilities. The nurse will collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Ensuring a
