American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Lawton, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week contract supporting a busy cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in cardiac catheterization procedures, patient monitoring, and advanced cardiovascular technology, while working collaboratively with physicians and the cath lab team to provide exceptional patient care. This role includes day shift hours with rotating call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Key Responsibilities - Monitor and care for patients during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures - Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures - Operate and monitor advanced cardiovascular equipment and imaging systems - Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care and education - Assist with patient transport and preparation for procedures - Accurately document patient care and procedural information - Support Cath Lab team operations and assist with additional duties as assigned Equipment & Technology Experience Candidates should be proficient with or familiar with: - Philips Laser System - IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) - OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) - Coronary and Peripheral Atherectomy Devices - Siemens Artis Zee C-arms (two labs) - McKesson CPACS - McKesson Cardiology - McKesson Hemodynamic System Schedule & Call Requirements - Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - Schedule: 5x8s | 40 hours per week - Call: 7 days per month - Weekend Call: 1 weekend per month - Rotating call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays About American Consultants Since 1989, American Consultants has been the leader in national healthcare staffing and consulting services.
