Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU -

Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • Work
nights schedule with 3/12-hour shifts • Must have NICU experience
in a level 1 trauma facility • 1 year of nursing experience
required • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems
ranging from simple to complex • Assume responsibility for assigned
group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing
interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians
in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain
and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and
intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed •
Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood
products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans
and discharge planning • Inform patients and families of hospital
procedures • Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate
personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • Required
certifications: Current Oklahoma nursing license or multistate
compact RN license, BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (American
Heart Association) • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited
program required, BSN preferred • Strong verbal and written
communication skills required • Computer skills and ability to
respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients
