Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can bring your expertise in orthopedic care to patients who need it the most. As a Travel Ortho RN, you will be responsible for managing the overall care of patients suffering from musculoskeletal issues. This includes administering medications, monitoring patient recovery, and collaborating with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Our commitment to placing nurses in roles where they can excel ensures that your skills are utilized effectively to make a positive impact on patient outcomes. Administer medications, treatments, and medical interventions as prescribed by attending healthcare providers. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on clinical needs. Coordinate with healthcare professionals including surgeons, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and lifestyle adjustments. Maintain complete and accurate patient records. Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other healthcare regulations and standards. Strong clinical skills in orthopedic nursing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma or ability to obtain BLS certification Orthopedic Nursing Certification (ONC) preferred
