Gifted Healthcare, a prominent leader in nursing and healthcare staffing, is actively seeking a dedicated Travel MedSurg RN to join our team in Lawton, Oklahoma. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment where professional growth is encouraged. As a MedSurg RN, you will handle a diverse range of medical conditions, providing care and support to patients in medical-surgical units. You will play a critical role in assessing patient conditions, administering medication, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and create patient care plans. Administer medications, and monitor recovery and side effects. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize care. Educate patients and their families on disease management and prevention. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Keep accurate documentation of patient care services and update patient records. Proficiency in administering medications and operating medical equipment Strong observational and critical thinking skills Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma or ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred but not required
