Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
74104! Job Title: RN Ortho Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Orthopedics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active Registered
Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have:
Registered Nurse license BLS certification Description: Provides
direct nursing care in accordance with established policies,
procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and
communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as the
primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient
care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses
and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of
the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive
judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a stressful environment. Follows standard
precautions using personal protective equipment as required. This
department serves a general orthopedic surgical adult population
and does have telemetry capability. Nurse-to-patient ratio is
1:5-6. Supported by patient care technicians and a healthcare unit
coordinator. Utilization of virtual monitoring is available as well
