Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Outpatient Surgery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Position Details - Job Title: RN – Outpatient Surgery - Job Code: 10050 (RN Outpatient Surgery – FS) - Job Category: Registered Nurses – Direct Care - Position Type: Contract - Facility: OU Medical Center - Department / Unit: Adult Outpatient Surgery (78600) - Location: 700 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104 - Start date: 03/02/2026 Schedule - Shift: Day Shift - Hours: 12 hours/day - Schedule: 04:45 AM – 5:15 PM - Days Per Week: 3 days/week - Hours Per Week: 36 hours - Weekends: None - Holidays: No major holidays - On-Call: None Role Overview / Responsibilities - Provide nursing care to outpatient surgical and interventional radiology patients - Serve as a Pre-Op Nurse for surgical and IR cases - Assess, plan, and deliver patient-centered nursing care - Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed - Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition - Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures - Educate patients and families regarding procedures and discharge plans - Document care, patient responses, and physician orders accurately - Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Required Qualifications - Active RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or Compact (eNLC) license - BLS (AHA required) - ACLS (AHA required) - Minimum 1 year of RN experience - Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Preferred Qualifications - EPIC charting experience - Level I Trauma experience - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) K16 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
