Employment Type: Travel Duties: General Description: Under
immediate to general supervision and direction of a
mentor/preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve the
initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular
and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric
patient populations for the purpose of aiding medical staff in the
diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of simple to complex
conditions, defects and/or diseases. Essential Responsibilities:

-Utilizing entry-level knowledge, abilities, skills and available
resources, provides safe, high quality, efficient and
cost-effective patient-centric care and support services under
routine or emergent conditions in a variety of care settings to
include, but not limited to; acute inpatient facilities, outpatient
physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers and remote
statewide outreach clinics. /n/n Education: Required Education:
-Associate’s degree or higher required. -ONE of the following:
Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with an
emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty. Graduate of a
JRCERT accredited educational program with an emphasis in
radiologic technology. Completion of a Paramedic training program.
/n/n Required Certifications & Licensure: -AHA BLS. -Must meet
applicant eligibility requirements and published standards for ARRT
Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) within 12 months of
hire date. OR -Successful completion of Paramedic training program
