Job Description Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time Mercy Clinic OB/GYN - Edmond I-35 North 2017 W. I-35 Frontage Road, Suite 260 Edmond, OK 73013 Overview: Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians/nurse practitioner and the leader. Qualifications: Medical Assistant: - Education: High School Diploma or GED. - Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office. - Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Certified Medical Assistant: - Education: High School Diploma or GED. - Certifications: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
