and technical support for provision of patient care for the
endoscopy patients experience.As directed, may be preparing the
endoscopy field, obtain needed equipment uphold patient safety
standards andassistthe physician and registered nurse.Performs a
variety of direct and indirect patient care duties and may assist
with special procedures as noted on the career ladder program.These
duties may range from limited to overly complex. All duties are
performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and
Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
(Level III):1 years of experience/Complex and Routine Hospital
Locations/ Consistently supports a 24-hour opportunity location.
Education:High-School Diploma or GED arerequired. You may be asked
to provide proof of education. Certifications:American Heart
Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Experience:-
Optional Surgical or Endoscopy tech education and/or experience.
The Endoscopy Technologist III is able to successfully and
independently participate in complex acuity cases, perform high
level disinfection duties AND is required to support a 24-hour
facility. Can act as primary preceptor for other Endo Techs. May
not be an expert in every procedure.May have leadership and Supply
responsibilities.- Completes all competencies in previous levels in
addition to: Endoscopy Tech Advanced Technology Competency Other:
Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able
toperform job-related functions safely and successfully, with or
