Contract: 3 Months Shift: 7:00 am– 7:30 pm (Day Shift) Employment
Type: W2 Contract Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced
and dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to join a
highly respected healthcare facility in Edmond, OK. The ideal
candidate will be able to provide high-level critical care to
patients with complex conditions in a fast-paced hospital
environment. This role requires independent clinical judgment,
strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with
a multidisciplinary team. Essential Responsibilities: Provide
direct nursing care to a designated group of patients, ensuring
safe and effective treatment. Document patient responses to
interventions, medications, and treatment plans; update records as
needed when physician orders change. Support physicians during
patient examinations and assist with diagnostic procedures and
minor treatments. Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and
physiological conditions, responding promptly to changes in status.
Administer medications and manage intravenous fluids and blood
products in accordance with physician orders. Collaborate with the
patient and family members to communicate the care plan and
discharge instructions. Provide education about hospital procedures
and patient expectations. Make referrals to appropriate healthcare
personnel as needed. Delegate tasks to support staff and ensure
proper follow-up.
