Pediatric Psychologist - 14412*Ada, OK - Health - Full Time*_Posted 6 days ago - - Apply before January 31, 2025_*Apply**Save*DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Full Time Pediatric Psychologist to join our Division of Primary Care Clinic and Public Health team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center working .*Summary:*Provides child and family-oriented therapeutic services as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Works collaboratively with other departments and programs to comprehensively care for patients. Provides expert consultation and written evaluations. Performs psychological evaluations and coordinates Healthy Steps program delivery.*Responsibilities:** Provides clinical psychological assessments* Develops individualized treatment plans for each child* Educates family members on what they can do for their child or how to respond to certain behaviors* Facilitates skill building groups for employees, individuals, couples, and families* Provides family, couple, individual and group therapies as needed* Aids in formulating and implementing pre-and post-program inventories to program and/or research participants* Performs documentation for client services and/or research protocols* Supports the pediatric team in a systems-oriented approach to promoting and protecting child health and development* Acts as a consultant to other physicians* Collaborates with Hofanti Chokma team to develop education and awareness campaigns aimed at curbing traumatic experiences and improving normative development in the lives of First American children* Coordinates and delivers early childhood development and parenting supports in the pediatric medical setting* Monitors Healthy Steps program fidelity and provides regular reports to leadership in collaboration with Hofanti Chokma program* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types* Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner* Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made* Greets and engages with a smile* Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types* Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment* Maintains and promotes professionalism* Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics* Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Performs all other duties as assigned*Competencies:*Essential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral* Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Knowledge of relevant privacy regulations such as The Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)* Knowledge of federal grant programs and requirements* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management* Communicates clinical information to patient in emergent or urgent settings* Communicates clinical information to patient in non-emergent setting* Writes effective communications with team, departments, guests and management*Skills:*Essential:* Skilled in formal and informal assessment protocols* Basic Computer skills*Experience:*Essential:* 1 year directly related experienceNonessential:* 1 year directly related supervisory experience*Education:*Essential:* Doctorate Degree in directly related field*Credentials:*Essential:* Pass general background check* Standard Driver's License* Licensed Psychologist* CN Core Leadership Level 1Essential:* Completion of level one Core Leadership Training within 12 months of the hire or promotion date*Working Conditions:*Essential:* Hospital or Clinic* Pass pre-employment drug test* Listening and hearing ability* Repetitive motions* Sitting up to 75% of shift* Standing up to 25% of shift* Subject to traveling and working at other locations or in other environments* May be required to work after hours or on weekends as needed#INDWork Location: In personby Jobble
