Overview:
Under the general supervision of the Senior Physical Therapist and
according to departmental policies and procedures and standards of
treatment, performs objective assessments as well as comprehensive
individualized treatment programs for patients of all ages.
Responsible for direct supervision of patients and indirect
supervision of rehab techs. Makes decisions related to patient care
of moderate difficulty. Handles confidential information regarding
patient records. Will perform all work with accord to the mission,
vision and values of Mercy. Perform initial assessment for each
patient upon receiving referral and document Plan of Care according
to departmental policies and procedures and standards of care.
