MST Assistant Manager - 17618*Ada, OK - Full Time*_Posted a week ago - - Apply before May 10, 2025_*Apply**Save*DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Full Time MST Assistant Manager to join our MST Group D team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.*Summary:*Supervises the daily operations of the Registration Department, which includes both long- and short-range planning of future resource requirements and ensures adequate coverage is provided in all areas.*Responsibilities:** Oversees and manages assigned area* Maintains files, logs, and records* Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information* Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development* Maintains knowledge of and enforce all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Prepares weekly reports* Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area* Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility* Participates in candidate selection process* Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff* Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff* Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies* Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff* Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues* Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area* Ensures all audits, reports and other operational communications are accurate and timely* Completes a variety of standard and ad hoc reports as required* Assists staff with accomplishing goals* Ensures staff stays in assigned areas* Investigates and resolves discrepancies* Resolves minor employee concerns* Communicates area performance and operational information to line of support* Approves/denies time off requests* Oversees job functions, development and job performance, including but not limited to, annual evaluations, employee development and performance management* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types* Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment* Maintains and promotes professionalism* Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics* Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* Participates in performance improvement activities to measure, assess and improve the quality of assigned work area* Facilitates and conducts scheduled meetings as needed* Monitor pre-registration staffs productivity and enter numbers to the I:Drive on a weekly basis* Participate in the ED supervisor on call rotation* Arrange and assure clinics are covered at all times* Make rounds in each clinic daily* Performs all other duties as assigned*Competencies:*Essential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral* Ensures compliance* Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines* Knowledge of relevant privacy regulations such as The Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)* Ability to multitask* Works well within a team* Ability to train individuals or small groups on specific tasks or procedures and engage with different learning styles* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management* Keeps written records*Skills:*Essential:* Basic Computer skills* Must be able to operate a computer and/or other equipment related to specific role (i.e. automated currency counters, calculator, projector, binding machine, other related office equipment)*Experience:*Essential:* 3 years directly related experience*Education:*Essential:* High School, GED or EquivalentNonessential:* Bachelors Degree in directly related field*Credentials:*Essential:* Pass general background check*Working Conditions:*Essential:* Works in an office setting* Sitting up to 100% of shift* Standing up to 25% of shift* Walking up to 25% of shift* Sometimes lift and or carry up to 15 lbs* May be on-call* May be required to work after hours or on weekends as needed* Pass pre-employment drug test#INDWork Location: In personby Jobble
