Job Summary:Job Description: We are seeking a General Manager to oversee the operations of a full service, medically integrated fitness center that offers a vast range of amenities dedicated to enhancing the lives of members. As the General Manager, you will have full P&L oversight and are responsible for mentoring a team of department managers as well as driving membership sales and engagement. You will ensure that members experience the highest standard of operational excellence throughout the entire property, which consists of aquatics, a full-size track, group fitness and other ancillary services.     • Hire, supervise, mentor and evaluate department managers (Fitness and Performance, Membership, Reception and Customer Service, Member Services and Retention).
    • Foster and manage quality relationships with client, community, and site members.
    • Drive, track and report on key metrics daily. Develop a plan to ensure business success.
    • Direct responsibility for the facilitys P&L. Develop department budgets, strategic business plan, and monitor for progress monthly as a part of client monthly operations updates measured against annual goals for all departments.
    • Understand and utilize EXOS methodology, services, and platforms to enhance the member experience and outcomes.
    • Accountable for driving sales through member acquisition, experience, engagement, and retention.
    • Function as the marketing manager; Always be innovating & developing strategies that drive member engagement in fitness programs as well as membership recruitment and retention.
    • Ensure excellent customer service and customer responsiveness to both inside and outside inquiries.
    • Interact with client management on a weekly basis to enhance communications and build a positive client/vendor relationship.
    • Potential to eventually oversee additional locations. Qualifications
      • Bachelors Degree in fitness, hospitality or business related fields with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a General Manager
      • Demonstrate a strong understanding of business operations and financials
      • Experience opening a new site and direct oversight driving membership presale is preferred
      • Successful track record managing sales, personal training, operations, group programming and customer service.
      • Proven success driving revenue through new membership sales and member engagement as well as by increasing fitness program participation.
      • Must have the flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to support programming.
      • Strong understanding of Google Docs & Excel as well as the ability to work with different CRM systems (i.e., Sales Force, GymSales, MindBody Online, etc.).
      • Ability to anticipate, manage, and solve operational issues on a regular basis.
      • Must possess an outgoing personality and exceptional leadership characteristics as well as a track record of professionalism and integrity throughout your career.
      • Current CPR/AED certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
