Job Description Job Overview Assembler/Bander will be required to set-up, operate, and to adjust machines and equipment to produce and/or to prepare for shipment a good quality product. Examples of machines and equipment include, but not limited to, nutting, banding, strapping, wrapping, and other departmental equipment. A Day In The Life /n - Processes performed will be, but not limited to, assembling, painting, palletizing, filing, bundling, banding, nutting, sorting, twisting, and deburring. /n - Operator may be required to make visual inspections, separate parts, identify, tag, count, record production, record scrap, keep required production records, and other operations as required. /n - Operator must have the ability to satisfactorily perform SPC as required. /n - Operator will be required to maintain machines, equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner. /n /n What will help you thrive in this role? /n - Ability to stand and perform repetitive work. /n - Ability to walk, see and have full use of both hands. /n - Ability to perform highly repetitive work with heavy weights and degrees of vibration from the equipment. /n - Ability to lift 35 lbs. from floor to above the waist and then place on timbers. /n - Ability to hold a stapling machine in one hand, position it, and staple the item. /n /n Hubbell Incorporated Hubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
