I in the Retail Trade industry, your main responsibility will be to
ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the store's
facilities and equipment. You will play a crucial role in creating
a safe and comfortable environment for both customers and
employees. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will
be essential in identifying and resolving any maintenance issues
that may arise. By effectively managing the store's maintenance
needs, you will contribute to the overall success of the business.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous
experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a retail or similar
environment. Strong knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, such as
plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Ability to use hand and
power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving and
time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or
training in a specific trade, such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical
work. Experience with preventive maintenance programs. Knowledge of
safety regulations and procedures. Ability to read and interpret
technical manuals and blueprints. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance
tasks, such as repairing or replacing fixtures, equipment, and
furniture. Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential
maintenance issues and address them promptly. Respond to
maintenance requests from store management and prioritize tasks
based on urgency. Collaborate with external contractors and vendors
to ensure timely and high-quality repairs and installations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work
orders, repairs, and inspections. Skills: In this role, your
required skills in basic maintenance tasks, such as plumbing,
electrical, and carpentry work, will be used daily to ensure the
store's facilities and equipment are in optimal condition. Your
problem-solving skills will be crucial in identifying and resolving
any maintenance issues that may arise. Additionally, your ability
to use hand and power tools safely and effectively will be
essential in performing routine repairs and replacements. Your
strong time management skills will help you prioritize tasks and
respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. In terms of
