We meet with clients to help evaluate and pursue legal strategies that meet philanthropic, business, and wealth transfer goals while simplifying estate plans wherever possible. The receptionist position is crucial for maintaining our office's stability and workflow by answering client phone calls, scheduling appointments, and other administrative tasks. This position will start at $12 an hour and be raised after 60 days. The hours will be from 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.Education, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required;
  • At least one year of office experience, preferred;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Excellent interpersonal skills;
    • Excellent customer service skills;
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
    • Ability to prioritize tasks;
    • Punctuality and ability to maintain regular attendance;
      • Ability to multitask;
      • Reliable transportation required;Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
        • Greeting clients and visitors, and answering visitor inquiries;
        • Answering and routing incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system;
          • Relaying phone messages properly;
          • Scheduling meetings, other appointments, and maintaining the daily calendar;
          • Calling clients to confirm their appointments;
          • Dating and printing documents for client meetings;
          • Scanning documents and placing them in the correct file;
          • Data entry;
            • Prepare coffee throughout the day;
            • Seating clients and getting them drinks, if needed;
            • Keeping the office suite clean and organized;
            • Getting the mail and distributing it to the appropriate office member;
            • Preparing the office suite for the next morning and closing the office suite;
            • Other tasks as needed by office members;Personal Traits: Since our Receptionist is often our visitors' first business contact with our office, a professional appearance and polished demeanor are important. Other personal traits necessary for the job are:
              • Respect for confidentiality and discretion;
              • Attention to detail;
              • Positive, upbeat attitude;
              • Patience in dealing with occasional difficult visitors;
              • Adaptability;
              • Humility;Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
                • Occasional - standing, lifting, and carrying;
                • Frequent - walking, noise, and talking;
                • Constant - sitting;Requires little physical effort.
